Sample Itinerary

Itineraries are flexible and tailored to optimal sailing conditions, guest preferences, and the captain's recommendations.

After a 20-minute ride from the Belize International Airport, you will be welcomed aboard your catamaran at the Cucumber Beach Marina. After a welcome orientation and safety briefing, you will sail to Bluefield Range.

Bluefield Range

Explore the Bluefield Range, a thriving mangrove cluster teeming with wildlife—a perfect kayaking paradise. Navigate through narrow channels, spot playful manatees, and for those inclined, bring along bait and a fishing line to reel in your dinner.

Tobacco Caye

Enjoy a relaxing sail to Tobacco Caye, where you'll pull into the dock at the tiny postcard-perfect island surrounded by azure waters and corals. Tobacco Caye is a 5-acre, palm-fringed coral island perched on the barrier reef, making it a great place to snorkel or dive from the shore. Its central location means it is within 10 minutes by boat to some of the best snorkel sites in Belize. A couple of small, laid-back resorts and a tiny beach bar serving fresh coconut water and ice-cold rum cocktails with hammocks can be found on the island. Thirty-nine local islanders call this rock their home, and it’s a great place to learn about their way of remote island life.

Carrie Bow & South Water Cayes

Sail to Carrie Bow Caye, a tiny caye that packs a big punch. Paddle among mangroves and palm-fringed islets and snorkel at "The Aquarium," as the locals call it. Stop by the Smithsonian Field Station and say hello!

Journey to South Water Caye, one of Belize's most exclusive and picture-perfect islands. This pristine, 15-acre private island lies just north of South Water Cut, a quarter-mile-wide gap in the reef.

Black groupers, grunts, moray eels, parrotfish, and snappers hide out in the overhangs, making for a spectacular snorkeling experience. Don your masks and fins and wade into the clear, glass-like water. If you're lucky, you'll see an eagle ray as it drifts idly by.

Make a quick stop at Blue Marlin Lodge, locally owned for over 30 years and a classic example of Belizean island hospitality. Enjoy an ice-cold Belikin beer and a game of billiards, or watch the pelicans soaring overhead before diving into the water for scraps as fishermen return to clean their day's catch.

Colson Cayes

A magical location for nature's wonders, Colson Cayes is a collection of mangrove islands with small sandy inlets, attracting dolphins, manatees, and a wide array of birds. Due to its remote and untouched location, Colson Reef is one of the healthiest coral reef ecosystems, with a beautiful variety of corals—hard and soft, fans and sea rods, and vibrant red sponges.

Goff's Caye & Bannister Island

Goff's Caye is a charming 2-acre island and one of our favorites because it reminds us why postcards exist. Snorkel from the shore or relax on the sandbar with an ice-cold Belikin beer. Next, sail to Bannister Bogue, a collection of mangrove islands teeming with wildlife—birds, dolphins, manatees, and other marine life.
